Qatar National Convention Centre
GreenGulf, in partnership with the region’s leading solar integrator Enviromena has been awarded the contract for the design and installation of Qatar’s first large-scale solar energy system. The 776kW photovoltaic (PV) system is currently being installed on the roof of the Qatar National Convention Centre Extension providing the building with 12.5% of its electricity needs and contributing to its LEED-gold certification. Once completed in mid-2011, it will be one of the largest PV systems in the region.
